Garden Room

The Garden Room is an elegant, refined space ideal for couples seeking a peaceful, sophisticated retreat. This room features a beautiful queen-size high poster canopy bed, offering views to the east and south, with room-darkening shades for a peaceful night's sleep. Although the private bathroom with a tub and shower is just across the hallway, it is reserved exclusively for your use. The room also includes all the modern conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay, including free WiFi. Begin your day with a delicious, customized breakfast and enjoy personalized service for a relaxing and memorable experience.

Reservation Policy

When reservation placed full payment is charged if, paying with credit card. If by check a 50% deposit is required to hold reservation of three or more days and the balance to be paid within 21 days of arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until deposit is received.

Single Nights

When accepted, room selection is up to the discretion of the innkeeper.

Cancellation Policy If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before date of arrival, you will be refunded by check your payment minus a cancellation fee of 100% of the first night including taxes and fees. We regret that no refunds for any reason will be granted within 21 days of expected arrival. We recommend trip insurance.

Beach Access

Stonehouse Manor combines historic charm, Maine hospitality, and modern comfort. Relax on our 60-foot screened veranda overlooking lush gardens and Silver Lake. Enjoy outdoor activities like croquet, horseshoes, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and lakeside lounging, or gather around the firepit in the evening. Inside, our cozy common areas with fireplaces provide a warm ambiance for cooler nights. Guests have access to a shared pantry with refreshments and an ice machine, and our attentive host Jane is always available to ensure a memorable stay.
 

 

Our innkeeper is available via text to assist with any questions or concerns during your stay. We’re here to ensure your visit is as comfortable and memorable as possible.
